Job Offer

As account manager you are the glue between our agency and the clients. You are responsible for the management of projects and relationships with particular customers. Your oversee the agency-client relationship. You coordinate all activities from the briefing to the GoLive of the websites or campaigns. You master all communication and negotiation techniques. The punctual and smooth execution of all projects is at the heart of your activities. You coordinate with the involved teams and book them accordingly. You will also take over the strategic concept phase for the client. Your area of responsibility includes the operational project management but also involves you already from the very beginning, right from the proposal management stage.

Your tasks

  • Develop briefings together with the customer or QA of incoming briefings
  • Manage new customer enquiries (no acquisition) and analyse customer needs of potential new customers (companies request directly from us)
  • Prepare presentations, estimates and proposals (Nusii); independent contract negotiations and generate of follow-up orders
  • Overarching responsibility (quality, budget, time) for projects / accounts; operational project management; create project plans (monitoring, time aliens & status reports) and calculations (estimates, forecasts)
  • Comprehensive communication with all departments; contact with design and development (incl. quality assurance)
  • Maintain & track our projects in the ticket system (Asana) and the budgets (Harvest)
  • Support and grow existing customers (Cross & Upselling)
  • Contribute new ideas to improve internal processes and customer satisfaction
  • Client appointments in the agency and on site at the client's premises
  • Examine eligibility for funding according to the "go-digital" funding programme of the federal government (training will take place)

Your profile

  • Interest and fun in working with customers, positive charisma and self-confident appearance as well as the ability to inspire people
  • Strong communication skills, open-mindedness and structured way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German skills; good written and spoken English skills advantageous
  • Independent work, high result orientation, staying power and ambition
  • Negotiation Skills, Listening Skills, Communication Skills outstanding time management skills

Your Education

  • 5-6 years experience in Account Management / Project Management
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Digital Agency experience / Project Management / Consulting experience
  • Experience with the tools Asana, Harvest desirable (but not mandatory)
